Candidate for Lafayette County Missouri Collector

Pamela Fetter is a lifelong resident of Lafayette County whose commitment to service, education, and community leadership has spanned more than three decades.
Raised on her family's farm near Alma, Pamela developed a strong appreciation for hard work, fiscal responsibility, and the values that define rural communities. She graduated from Santa Fe R-X High School, attended the University of Missouri, and later earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Central Missouri.
Pamela spent 34 years serving students, families, and communities in Missouri public schools. During her 24 years in school administration with the Sweet Springs R-VII, Santa Fe R-X, and Chillicothe R-II school districts, she managed complex budgets funded through local, state, and federal sources, ensured compliance with regulatory requirements, supervised personnel, wrote grants, and worked collaboratively with school boards, staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
After retiring from public education, Pamela continued her leadership as principal of a private school. During her tenure, the school expanded its services, acquired a local daycare, and successfully developed a new early childhood education center.
Pamela's commitment to Lafayette County extends beyond her professional career. She is an active member of the Alma Lions Club and currently serves as President-Elect. She has volunteered for many years managing Ballpark concessions and helping organize Alma's annual Independence Day celebration. Through the Missouri Retired Teachers Association, she has served as a retirement educator, and she has participated in fundraising efforts benefiting the For the Children Foundation and Compass Health Network.
A lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma, Pamela currently serves on the Trinity School Board.
Pamela and her husband, Mel Fetter, reside in Lexington. Together, they are proud of their family's continued ties to Lafayette County.
As County Collector of Revenue, Pamela is committed to maintaining the integrity of the office, providing responsive and professional service to citizens, and ensuring accountability in the management of public funds. Her extensive experience overseeing budgets, working with diverse stakeholders, and solving complex challenges has prepared her to serve Lafayette County with dedication, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.
Pamela would be honored to earn your support and your vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
